I chose the track TRAPPED - from album Star of The Sea - for a single and as a video as it epitomises the intimate soulful side o the Countess ... The lyrics were born from lockdown experience & link back to Stange childhood experience of seeing a a statue of a woman who had been buried, grave robbed & then brought back to life.........it must be there in my subconscious as it came to the fore when I was feeling indeed.....Trapped. As for the video- wondering around Leith Docks filming with the talented Peter Doris might be a daunting experience for some but for me it was mostly an inspiring one - My soul is in the sea & The Forth is the gateway - The experience also reminded me I have a natural ability to shout like a 19th Century fishwife - surely one of my past lives....
